If you want to request court supervision, you must appear at the Scott County Courthouse on the date and time listed on your ticket, or contact the State’s Attorney in advance of that date.
The Illinois Secretary of State has information on the Graduated Driver License program here.
To request supervision under the Graduated Driver’s Program you must complete a traffic safety school and submit proof of that completion. You must request supervision by calling the State’s Attorney’s office or appearing on the court date on your ticket, provide a written plea, and pay your total fine and court costs in full on or before your court date (typically a minimum of $332.50).
The Scott County Court accepts the traffic safety programs at Lewis & Clark Community College, Illinois Central College or Quincy Area Safety Council. The fee required for these programs is separate from any fines assessed by the court and must be paid in accordance with the terms set forth by the program provider. Your certificate of completion must be filed with the Circuit Clerk.
